About Our Founder

Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Christina Walker is a trailblazer at the intersection of sports, advocacy, mental health, media, and entrepreneurship. A former four-year Washington University in St. Louis Women’s Basketball player, she brings over a decade of experience as a sports broadcaster and journalist, covering the WNBA, NCAA March Madness, and major national sporting events.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Psychological & Brain Sciences and a Master’s in Social Work from Washington University in St. Louis, with concentrations in Mental Health and Social Entrepreneurship. Christina is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in Missouri and plans to pursue LCSW licensure and a PhD in the near future.
Christina is also a dynamic content creator with hundreds of videos across her YouTube channel and Instagram pages, taking supporters and followers behind the scenes to places most people rarely access including Ivy League institutions such as Yale, Columbia, Princeton, Penn, Dartmouth, and Brown, the White House, national sporting events, and exclusive concert experiences.
As the founder of 4 Her Sport, she addresses the urgent mental health needs of female athletes through research-informed and experience-driven work, empowering the next generation of leaders in sports and beyond.
Christina aspires to be a three-time business owner as a private practice therapist, CEO of 4 Her Sport, and CEO of ChristInA Girl LLC as she uses media, mental health advocacy, community initiatives, and entrepreneurship, to creates access and opportunities that amplify underrepresented stories and empower the next generation of female leaders.
