About Our Founder
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, Christina Walker is a trailblazer in sports, mental health, and entrepreneurship. As a 4-year WashU Women’s Basketball player with over a decade of experience as a sports broadcaster and journalist—including covering the WNBA and NCAA March Madness—she brings unmatched expertise and passion to the intersection of mental health and athletics.
Christina holds a Bachelor’s in Psychological and Brain Sciences from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently earning her Master’s in Social Work with focuses on Mental Health and Social Entrepreneurship at WashU’s Brown School of Social Work. She aspires to become a three-time business owner as a private practice owner/therapist, CEO of 4 Her Sport, and CEO of ChristInA Girl LLC, which uplifts, inspires, and empowers girls and women worldwide by providing positive images of girlhood and womanhood and giving support through community initiatives and services.
As the founder of 4 Her Sport, Christina is addressing the urgent need for mental health support for female athletes as seen in research and personal/peer experience. A dynamic leader, Christina combines her media expertise and deep understanding of athlete mental health to inspire change, empowering the next generation of female leaders in sports and beyond.
